Love and hate (psychoanalysis)

Love and hate are two powerful emotions, and psychoanalysts (people who study people's behavior) look at how these emotions can affect someone. They believe that a person's emotions can be affected by early life experiences, like interactions with parents or family members. For example, someone who had a close relationship with their parents growing up might show more love for others, and someone who had a difficult relationship with their parents growing up might show more anger and hate.
