Luke 1

Luke chapter 1 is a part of a book in the Bible called Luke. It tells the story of a man named Zechariah and his wife named Elizabeth. They were an older couple who thought they could not have children, but an angel appeared to Zechariah and told him that Elizabeth would have a baby boy who would be very important. The baby's name would be John.

Later on, another angel appeared to a young woman named Mary and told her she would also have a baby boy. The baby's name would be Jesus and he would be the Son of God. Mary was surprised but she trusted God and she became pregnant.

Mary went to visit Elizabeth and when Elizabeth saw her, she knew that Mary's baby would be the one who would save people from their sins. This was a very big deal because many people had been waiting a long time for someone to come and save them from their sins.

So, Luke chapter 1 talks about the beginning of the story of Jesus and how he was going to come to earth and help people.
