Maitreya

Maitreya is a special being in Buddhism who will come to Earth one day and bring peace, harmony and enlightenment to all people. He is the successor of the historical Buddha, and is believed to have infinite wisdom and compassion. Maitreya is sometimes referred to as the "future Buddha" and is thought to be the embodiment of universal love and ultimate truth. Buddhists believe that by following Maitreya's teachings, people can live together in peace and find true happiness.
