Majorette (dancer)

A majorette is a special type of dancer who leads a group of other dancers or musicians in a parade or performance. They usually wear very fancy outfits and carry a special stick called a baton that they twirl around in the air.

The job of a majorette is to make the performance look even more exciting and fun by adding some flashy moves and cool tricks. They might do things like throw the baton high in the air and catch it, or march backwards while twirling.

Majorettes often work together in a team, and they have to practice their routines a lot to make sure they all know what to do and when to do it. They also have to be strong and flexible, since the tricks they do can be very physically challenging. But if they work hard and practice a lot, they can be very successful and make their performances look really amazing!
