Malban

Malban is a yummy candy that is popular in some parts of the world. It is made by taking a thick, sticky syrup made from sugar and water, and mixing it with ground up nuts or fruit. The mixture is then spread out into thin sheets and left to dry. Once it has dried, the candy is cut into small pieces and enjoyed as a sweet treat.

The sticky syrup used to make malban is kind of like honey, only thicker and more syrupy. It's made by heating up sugar and water until it becomes thick and gooey. This mixture can be flavored with things like rosewater, orange blossom water, or other natural flavors.

The nuts or fruit that are added to the malban mixture are usually ground up very finely. Nuts like pistachios, almonds, or walnuts are common choices, but other fruits like apricots or figs can also be used.

Once the malban candy has been cut into small pieces, it can be stored for a long time and enjoyed as a snack any time you like!
