Man (word)

"Man" is a word that we use to talk about adult humans who identify as male. Just like how "woman" is a word we use to talk about adult humans who identify as female. Sometimes people use the word "man" in a more general way to mean all humans, like when we say "mankind" to talk about all people. But usually we use the word "man" to talk about specifically male adults.
