Mathematicism

Mathematicism is a made-up word that refers to the feeling that some people have that math is the most important subject. They might think that all problems should be solved using math or that math is the only useful thing to study.

Think of math as a tool, just like a hammer or a screwdriver. It's really helpful when you want to build something or fix something. But just like you wouldn't use a hammer to brush your teeth, math isn't always the best or only way to solve a problem.

Some people really like math, and that's great! But it's important to remember that there are lots of other subjects that are just as important, like reading, history, and science. Each subject teaches us different things and helps us understand the world in a different way. So while math is cool, it's not the only thing that matters.
