Matrix completion

Matrix completion is a way of looking at a puzzle and figuring out the missing pieces. Imagine you have a jigsaw puzzle with some of the pieces missing. It's much harder to figure out what the puzzle should look like without all the pieces in place. That's what matrix completion does - it looks at the pieces that are present and finds the best way to fill in the missing pieces.
