Media prank

A media prank is when people make something up or pretend to do something silly or weird to fool journalists or the news. It's like a game of pretend where people try to make the news talk about something that isn't real.

For example, if someone created a fake monster and placed it in a lake, they might call the news and say they have seen a monster. The news would come and talk about the monster and people would get excited about it, but in reality, it's just a silly prank.

Media pranks can be harmless fun, but sometimes they can be mean and hurtful. It's important to always be truthful and not take advantage of people's trust in the news.
