When you do mental health first aid, you focus on the person's emotional and mental wellbeing, not their physical wellbeing. You might give them a hug or listen to what they are saying and help them find ways to cope with their feelings. You can also encourage the person to get help from a doctor, therapist or other mental health professional if needed.
