Mexican War of Independence

The Mexican War of Independence was a war that happened a long time ago in the country of Mexico. The war was between the people of Mexico and the people of Spain (who ruled Mexico at that time). The Mexican people wanted to be free from Spanish rule, so they formed an army and fought against the Spanish.
