Microgeneration

Microgeneration is the generation of small amounts of electricity. This is usually done on a small scale, such as at your own home, using something called a "microgenerator." The microgenerator takes energy from the sun, the wind, or water, and turns it into electricity that you can use in your home. You could use the electricity to power your lights, appliances, and other electronics. You don't have to buy as much electricity from the power company when you are microgenerating, which can save you money!
