Military awards and decorations
Military awards and decorations are decorations given to recognize and reward members of the military who do something brave or outstanding. It could be for things like bravery in combat, or being a very good leader. These decorations usually come with a medal and a certificate. The medal is a sign of honor and a reminder of accomplishment. The certificate gives more details about why the decoration was given.
