Military psychology

Military psychology is the field of psychology which studies how to best help members of the military stay healthy and perform their jobs effectively. It looks at how to reduce the risks of mental health problems such as depression and post-traumatic stress, help people deal with stress and pressures of war, and provide resources and support to members of the military. Military psychologists also try to understand how to make sure that members of the military are mentally and physically ready to handle the tasks of their job.
