Military–industrial complex

The military-industrial complex is when the government and businesses work together to make and supply things that the military needs, like weapons, vehicles, and uniforms. The government agrees to give lots of money to the businesses, so they can build factories and hire people to make these things. The businesses then use the money the government gave them to make and sell these things to the military.
