ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Milk line

So, have you ever seen a cow before? Cows are big animals that make milk. Milk is a special drink that is good for you because it has lots of vitamins and minerals that help you grow big and strong.

Now, cows don't just have milk inside them all the time. They only make milk when they have a baby cow called a calf. When the calf drinks the milk, it helps them grow big and strong too!

But before the calf is born, the mommy cow's body gets ready to make milk. She has these special parts called "milk lines" on her belly where the milk comes out. It's like a highway for milk!

These milk lines are made up of lots of little tubes and glands that work together to make milk. When the cow has a baby, the milk travels down the milk lines and comes out of the cow's udder.

So, that's what a milk line is. It's like a special road on a cow's belly that helps the milk get from inside the cow to outside where it can be drank by the baby cow or made into yummy things like cheese and ice cream!
