Mirroring (psychology)

Mirroring is a psychological phenomenon that helps us understand and connect with people better. It happens when we imitate the body language, facial expressions, and the way someone speaks of the people around us. For example, if someone smiles at us, we might smile back. If someone crosses their arms, we might do the same. Doing this helps to build trust and understanding between people. It can also help make someone feel more accepted or understood.
