Mockney

Mockney is a type of language that mixes two different kinds of English. It uses both the ordinary language used by regular people, and the language that some people use when they are trying to sound more posh than they really are. So someone speaking mockney might say something like: "Ello guvnor, I'm gunna pop down the shops and get me some top notch grub, alrite?" In this sentence, "Ello guvnor" and "alrite" are more ordinary words, while "gunna" and "top notch grub" are words that some people use to sound more posh than they really are.
