Model-dependent realism

Model-dependent realism is a way of thinking about the world that says that the reality of something depends on the models that we have of it. It means that we can only really understand something when we create a model of it, like a map or a diagram. For example, when we think about how the world works, we can create models that help us understand the relationships between different things.
