Monotheism

Monotheism is the belief in one god. Instead of believing in many gods (like the ancient Greeks or Romans did), monotheism says that there is only one god who is in charge of everything in the universe. Some religions that follow this belief are Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. In these religions, people pray to the one god for guidance, blessings, and support.
