Motion

Motion means moving or changing position. For example, if you put a toy truck on the ground and push it with your hands, it will start moving and that's called motion. If you keep pushing it, it will keep moving in that direction until something stops it. Motion can be used to describe both living and nonliving things. For example, a dog running or a skateboard rolling are both forms of motion.
