Multiprocessor system on a chip

A multiprocessor system on a chip (SoC) is a tiny computer chip that contains several microprocessors. It is like having several computers on one chip! A multiprocessor system on a chip can do more things at the same time than a regular computer chip. For example, it can run multiple programs at once and it can send and receive information faster. Multiprocessor SoC chips are used in many different devices, ranging from smartphones to game consoles to computers.
