ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Muslim theology

So, you know how different people have different beliefs about God and how we should live our lives? Well, Muslim theology is the study of what Muslims believe about God and how they think we should live our lives.

Muslims believe in one God, who they call Allah. They also believe that Allah has spoken to people through prophets, like Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad, who Muslims consider to be the final prophet.

Muslims think that Allah has given us rules to follow, called the Five Pillars of Islam. These include: saying a declaration of faith, praying five times a day, giving to people in need, fasting during the month of Ramadan, and making a pilgrimage to Mecca if possible.

Muslims also believe in the Quran, which they think is the word of Allah that was revealed to Muhammad. They read and study the Quran to learn about what Allah wants them to do.

Overall, Muslim theology is about understanding the beliefs and practices of Muslims and how they think we should live our lives according to Allah's teachings.
