Mustard tree

Okay kiddo, let’s talk about the mustard tree. You know how you love mustard on your hotdogs? Well, this tree makes tiny black or brown seeds that are used to make that yellow condiment.

The mustard tree grows in hot and dry places and can get really big - like as tall as a two-story house! It has big branches with lots of leaves and produces small yellow flowers.

But here’s the really cool part, honey: when the flowers die, they leave little pods behind. And these pods have the mustard seeds inside! People can collect these seeds and turn them into the mustard you love to eat.

So, that’s the mustard tree. It’s a big tree with lots of leaves and yellow flowers that makes the seeds used to make delicious mustard.
