Okay kiddo, have you ever tried eating a fruit called coconut? If not, it's a big round fruit with a hairy outer shell and sweet white flesh inside. Nata de coco is made from the inside of coconut, but it's a bit different.
You know that feeling when you spill water on your shirt and it becomes all wet and squishy? Nata de coco is a lot like that, but much much yummier. It's made by adding some special bacteria to coconut water, which makes the water turn into a jelly-like substance.
Then the jelly is cut into little cubes or other shapes, and it's mixed with sugar or other flavorings to make it taste really good. Some people even add it to their drinks or use it as a topping on ice cream.
So the next time you eat something with little squishy cubes in it, that might be nata de coco!
