Neighborhood planning

Neighborhood planning is like a game of building with blocks. Cities are made up of different areas - like neighborhoods - and all of these neighborhoods need to be built in a way that works well and looks good. Neighborhood planning is when a group of people get together to decide how each neighborhood should be designed. They think about things like what kinds of shops and businesses should be in the neighborhood, how many houses should there be, and how much green space and parks should be in the area. They also talk about things like roads and sidewalks, and how all the different parts of the neighborhood should look. Planning a neighborhood right helps to make the area a great place to live, work, and play.
