New Right

The New Right is a political movement that emerged in the 1970s in the United States and Britain. It is a way of thinking that emphasizes traditional values, strong national defense, low taxes and limited government interference in people's lives. It is focused more on individual freedom than collective action. New Right supporters believe that the government should get out of the way and let people decide their own lives. They argue that a free economy is the best way to promote economic growth and personal freedom, and that it is not necessary for the government to provide many social services or regulate people's lives.
