Nit (unit)

A nit is a word we use to measure how bright a light is. It's like using a ruler to measure how long something is or a scale to measure how heavy something is. Nits measure the brightness of screens like those on phones, TVs, and computer monitors. The more nits a screen has, the brighter it will be. Nits are important because they can help us see things better in bright sunlight or dimly lit rooms.
