ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Non-paternity event

A non-paternity event is when someone's daddy is not really their biological father. This means that the man who is thought to be their father is not actually their father. This can happen for many different reasons, like if their parents had an affair or if a mistake happened when their DNA was being tested. It's important to know that just because someone has a non-paternity event, it doesn't mean they are any less loved or important to their family. Families come in all shapes and sizes, and what's most important is the love and care they give each other.
