Nontrinitarianism is a belief that God is not three persons—known as the Trinity—but is instead one person. Instead of believing in the Trinity, non-trinitarians believe that God is only one person, rather than three separate persons. They also believe that Jesus is not the same person as God, but instead is God's son. Non-trinitarians may have different ideas about the nature of God, but usually agree that there is only one God.
