Novel

A novel is a big, thick book with a lot of words in it. The words all tell a story that can be really exciting or really sad or really funny. When you read a novel, you get to use your imagination to picture the characters and the places they go. You can read a novel by yourself or someone can read it to you. It can take a long time to read a whole novel, but it's like going on an adventure in your mind.
