Novelty architecture

Novelty architecture is when buildings or structures are built to look like something else, like a giant shoe, a hot dog stand, or even a spaceship. It's like when you play with toy blocks, but these are giant and real buildings that people can actually go into and use.

These buildings are usually created to catch people's attention and make them interested in what's inside. For example, a museum that looks like a giant dinosaur might make kids want to go inside and learn about the prehistoric creatures.

Other times, novelty architecture is built just for fun, like a big castle or a house that looks like a UFO. It's a way to be creative and make something unique that people will remember.

Some people don't like novelty architecture because they think it doesn't fit in with the other buildings around it, but others think it adds character and makes cities more fun and interesting to explore.
