Nuptial flight

Nuptial flight is when some insects, like ants and termites, have a big party in the sky. During this party, the boy insects and the girl insects fly together and have a special dance called the "nuptial flight." This dance is like a date, where they get together and decide if they want to make babies. After the dance is over, the girl insects go back down to the ground or into a special home to make a family. The boy insects usually die after the party because they fulfilled their job. Nuptial flight is a very important time for the insects, because it helps them to make new families and continue their lives.
