ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Nursing assessment

A nursing assessment means a nurse has to check on a patient to see how they are feeling and if anything is wrong with their body. They ask the patient questions about how they feel and use tools like a thermometer to check their temperature or a stethoscope to listen to their heart and lungs. They use this information to figure out what is wrong, and then they can recommend treatment or medication to make the patient feel better. It's like a superhero nurse power to help people feel better by listening to their body!
