Obsolescence

Obsolescence is when something gets old and isn't useful anymore. For example, when your mom or dad buy a new phone, the old one becomes useless and it becomes obsolete. Obsolescence also happens with cars and other gadgets. When something doesn't work anymore or is no longer as useful as it was when it was new, it is obsolete.
