Occupational Health and Safety

Occupational health and safety is all about keeping people safe at work. Just like how you have rules to follow at home, there are rules to follow when you are working. These rules are called "safety regulations" and they help to prevent accidents and injuries.

For example, when you ride a bike, you wear a helmet to protect your head. In the same way, people who work in construction might wear hard hats to protect their heads from falling objects. Similarly, people working with heavy machinery might wear gloves and goggles to protect their hands and eyes.

Safety regulations also include things like making sure that the workplace is clean and free from hazards, such as loose wires, slippery floors or sharp edges.

In addition, people who work in hazardous environments like factories or laboratories need to take extra precautions and follow extra safety rules to prevent accidents and exposure to dangerous materials or chemicals.

Overall, Occupational health and safety is all about taking care of yourself and others while working, so that everyone can stay healthy and happy!
