Prevention through design

Prevention through design (also known as "PtD") is a way of making sure that people stay safe when doing tasks, like construction work or other activities. It means taking the time to think about how to protect people from any hazards that could occur during a task. For example, if people are building a house, they might use safety harnesses so that if they slip, they will stay safe and not be hurt. They might also use safety tools that can help prevent mistakes. Prevention through design also encourages companies to look at the way they do things and identify any potential hazards before they cause any harm. This helps keep everyone safe and helps the company avoid costly damages.
