Olduvai theory is a theory that explains how things change over time. It was named after a place called Olduvai Gorge in Tanzania where a lot of ancient artifacts and fossils were discovered, and it was proposed by a man named Louis Leakey. The idea is that the longer something (like a species) is on the Earth, the more special adaptations it can develop, and it will become better adapted to its environment. This means that it will be better able to survive over long periods of time and might even become more successful than other species that have not been around as long. Over time, these changes can lead to a species becoming so different from its original form that it is considered a different species altogether, which is known as evolution.
