Pager

A pager is a device used to send and receive messages. It looks like a small radio or walkie-talkie. People can carry it around with them and use it to send short messages to each other. For example, if a doctor needs to be contacted in an emergency, they can give the hospital their pager number, and the hospital can send a message to the doctor's pager. When the doctor receives the message, it will make a beeping sound. The doctor can then call the hospital back.
