Pandemic

A pandemic is a really big sickness that spreads across the world really fast. It's like a really contagious cold that a lot of people get. When it spreads quickly, it's hard to control and so lots of people get sick. It's important that people do their best to stay healthy by washing their hands a lot and staying away from people who are sick.
