Paradise Papers

The Paradise Papers are documents from a law firm in the Caribbean called Appleby that show how rich people and big companies move their money around. This helps them avoid paying taxes in the countries where they live and make money. They do this by transferring their money to tax havens—countries that have lower taxes than other places. The documents were leaked to the public so that people could see how much money the rich and big companies were hiding.
