Kleptocracy

Kleptocracy is like when you play with your toys and someone comes in and takes all of your favorite ones without asking. But instead of toys, it's a whole country's money and resources.

Imagine you live in a big house with all your friends and family. Your parents work and earn money to buy food, clothes, and toys for everyone to share. Now imagine one of your parents is really greedy, and instead of using the money for everyone's needs, they take it all for themselves. They buy fancy things and go on trips but don't share with you or your family. That is what kleptocracy looks like in a country.

In a kleptocracy, the people in charge use their power to take money and resources from the country for themselves instead of using them for the good of everyone. They may also use their power to make unfair laws and decisions that benefit themselves and not the people they are supposed to be helping. This can make it really hard for people who are not in power to get the things they need to live a good life like education, healthcare, and food.

Overall, kleptocracy is when people in power use their position to steal money and resources from their own country, making things really unfair for everyone else.
