Parlour music

Parlour music is like when you have a party at your house and your mommy or daddy plays music for everyone to listen and sing along with. It was very popular a long time ago, before we had fancy music systems and TVs. People would gather in a room called the parlour and play music on instruments like pianos, guitars, and violins. They would sing songs and have a fun time together. The music was usually simple and easy to sing along with because people didn't have a lot of music lessons like we do now. Parlour music was a special way for people to come together and have fun with music in their homes.
