Pascalization

Pascalization is a process of preserving or storing food by applying pressure to it using water. Think of it as putting your food in a very strong, high-pressure washing machine. This process is called pascalization because it was invented by a French scientist named Blaise Pascal.

When we put food in the washing machine, we also add water and seal the whole thing up. Then we turn on the machine and apply pressure to the food using the water. This pressure is so strong that it kills any harmful bacteria in the food, making it safe to eat.

Not only does pascalization make the food safe, but it also keeps it fresh for a longer time without needing chemicals or preservatives. The pressure forces the food to retain its natural flavor and nutrients, so it remains healthy and delicious.

Overall, pascalization is a safe and natural way to preserve food, and it helps to reduce food waste by extending the shelf life of perishable items.
