Passive solar

Passive solar is a way to heat and cool your house without using electricity or gas. It works like this: when the sun shines on your house, the walls, floors and windows absorb the sun's energy. This energy warms up the inside of your house. You can then keep the inside of your house warm by using blinds and curtains. During the day, when it's sunny, you can open your curtains to let sunshine in and keep your house warm. At night, you can close the curtains to keep the warm air inside your house. You can also use special windows and roofs to help your house stay cool in the summer.
