Paternalistic conservatism

Paternalistic conservatism is when grown-ups, also called 'leaders', decide what is best for everyone, especially children and young people. In this type of government, leaders make decisions and laws that protect the people from harm and help them to be successful. For example, the government may make laws that protect the environment and that ensure that everyone gets access to education. This way, the leaders are trying to make sure everyone has a good and safe life.
