Patristics

Patristics is the study of the writings of the early Church Fathers. This is the name for the people who lived in the first few centuries of Christianity and wrote down their ideas about Jesus, the Bible, and how to be a good Christian. Patristics looks at what these ancient writers said and how they interpreted the Bible so that we can better understand early Christian beliefs and teachings.
