Paulo Freire

Paulo Freire was a Brazilian philosopher who wrote about education. He believed that education shouldn't be about just getting information from teachers and books, but instead it should be a way for people to learn how to think for themselves and to learn from each other. He wrote some really famous books like The Pedagogy of the Oppressed which talks about helping people in poor and oppressed parts of the world have more of a say in their lives. He was an important educator and thinker who wanted to make sure that everyone could learn and have a say in their lives.
