Performance Based Contracting

Performance based contracting means that when a company or person agrees to do a job, they will get paid based on how well they do that job. For example, if a company agrees to build a bridge, they will only get paid if the bridge works the way it's supposed to. If the bridge does not work, the company will not get paid. Performance based contracting makes sure that companies and people are doing their best work and making sure the job is done right.
