Personnel selection is the process of choosing people to work in a company. Companies decide who they want to hire by looking carefully at the skills and abilities of each person they are considering to make sure they are the best fit for the job they need done. They often use tests, interviews, and references to find out what the person's skills and qualifications are in order to make the best decision possible.
